More pictures of stuff

Pictures from the past 5 months!!

I have been feeding a wild cat since I moved here.I didn't want to but once winter hit I had to. Only this past year has he come regularly, twice a day, after Striper is in. Tonight has been a great night. After last years minus 26 degree temperatures, I felt I had to get a shelter for "Satchmo" this year. I bought a heated house made out of tent material, very cleverly made. It has been out for 2 weeks but no luck getting him in. Tonight,I kept the flap door open with clothespegs and I put a handful of treats inside. After he came and had his food,I was hopeful...and yes when I looked out later, footprints in the snow, went in and didn't come out!! He peeked out and I left so he wouldn't leave.

Before

After

Just this past week,I bid on an online estate sale, very different. I went in the snow to pick my stuff up yesterday and was very excited about the quilt I got. Very early calico, all handstitched and fabulous fabrics.

Very tempted to keep it as I love calico! I need the snow to stop so I can air it on the clothesline.

Went to the Christmas Open House at Stitch..a wonderful store in Jordon. All about creativity through knitting, fabric, sewing, and anything textile related. A great place to get inspired. Google the store as they also have classes. Her displays are what draw my attention,as they are all about her collections, and the things she has made. I love it.

Going to Stitch has got me inspired. I am sorry I didn't take pictures of the stockings I made from Hudson Bay blankets that had issues. They are all sold. I may get back to you before Christmas, but if not I hope you have a wonderful holiday season.

Bev's trip to Paris.

Hello to you from Niagara on the Lake.

I had a wonderful trip in Sept. to Paris. I arrived on a Friday am. and the next day I was already at the Flea market early, early. Here are some pictures of Vanves market,my favourite and where I bought the most.

I had a great morning poking through everything, wishing I could send a container back.

How can I get this home?

On top of Arc de Triomphe with a thunderstorm heading up the Champ de l'eysee.  I sought cover on the street below in a champagne bar. Ordered pink of course!

Once I got back, Striper was like a Velcro cat, stuck to me. He was hoarse from crying looking for me. His caregiver had to shut the windows as he started howling at 4 am.and woke the neighbours.

Check back soon,I have nice pictures of my booth at Southworks. Also of some thing I am making.
