Getting ready for the first antique show.

Oh my what an awful winter!

I have been sewing up a storm as you saw in the last blog.

Here are some more items,I have made from vintage fabric and quilt squares  ,for the Linen Ladies show.

I really had to fight to get these on ebay. These were quilt squares that had never been made into a quilt. They were triangles,so I washed them then cropped them into squares .They are now little lavender sleep pillows. I have 19 of them.

 I really had fun.

Then I made more of the millener"s hat stands from a pattern on etsy.

That's all for now. I need to get ironing!

Getting started for the first antique sale of the year.

What have I been doing??

I have started getting organized for the first antique show I am doing this year. Have lots of things also to take to my antique booth in Southworks and Vineland.

These are lavender sachets I made from a damaged pillowcase done in Turkey Red. I am saving them for the Linen Ladies show in Greensville on May 1 and 2.

I had fun making some hat stands to display hats I am selling. I found the pattern on Pinterest. The base is an old candlestick I painted. I have a number of boards on Pinterest, look for Bev Munkley.

A nice Merrythought bear I am selling.

Not sure I can part with this..I love early calico!

This is a gorgeous French tablecloth and 12 banquet napkins.

These are so sweet. I am selling them as a set.

I am not doing any outdoor shows this year, maybe forever..but Barb is doing Christie in the same booth we had last year. S-4   May 23.

So that is what I am doing...buying, sewing, and getting ready to sell in the warmer weather.
